The conference was presented by the IBA Arbitration Committee and supported by the IBA European Regional Forum. It was the second IBA arbitration event in the CIS countries after the “International Arbitration: Ukraine, Russia and CIS countries” conference successfully conducted in Kyiv in November 2010.
Members of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association sit on the organizational committee of the event this year. They will also be conference moderators and speakers.
The conference will cover the following topics:
- Is there a need to regulate ethical standards in international arbitration?
- Public policy: old new challenges.
- State courts and arbitration: hand in hand forever?
The following attendees will participate in the conference: lawyers in private practice, lawyers in government and public bodies, in-house counsels, SME executives involved in international business activities, and academics.
